i thought i can just work for the remaining few days or so in a relaxed mood, but sad to say my wish did not come true.. ever since shirley left, i need to help serena to consolidate the GST data which used to be shirley's job.. finally yesterday,IT person got me a laptop... and there i was, sitting in front of the laptop copy and paste, copy and paste....... on and on = this is my first assignment. The next 2 assignments are given by my supervisor 1) photocopy all expenses reports of 8 expatriates (i think this will take me at least 3-4 days) 2) consolidate all 2006 invoices that are going to be paid in 2007 in excel spreadsheet. Haiz... so sad right... before that i was like so free, and now i'm left with only 6 days to complete 3 assignments... now i hardly talk at all, and i strained my eyes too much that they turn red already!
At least my thai boss is kind enough to drop by our room and chit chat with us for a while.. he always like to ask me "Yi Lin! How are you today?" What am i suppose to say?! and so i always replied him "Okay loh" in actual fact the answer is "not very good" anyway i doubt he knows that i had so many things to do.. i was quite glad that i had such a good boss who is far better than the supervisor, who is willing to interact with his employees and he seems more like a friend, i think shirley & serena will agree with me =)
Last sunday went to jessica's 21st bday party. wow she's a rich girl lei, 3 storey bungalow and 2 cars somemore... wow wow!!! it was quite fun and her relatives are so funny.. but the heavy rain makes us tired cos we had to walk quite a long way in from the bus stop ( you know rich people drive car)
Results out on 26dec : post- christmas gift from nus haha.. hopefully i can do well this time...
