All this while, i volunteer to help coordinates outings for friends but sometimes people tend to take things for granted. Sms-ing is the quickest way to pass a message, but still people take a long time, up to half a day to reply a 'Yes' or a 'No'. i couldn't take this kind of attitude anymore and decided to say this out loud and give them a good scolding... It just happened today.... we're planning to celebrate xinhui's belated birthday, venue is settler's cafe. And of course, the birthday girl has to be free if not this outing will be meaningless. xinhui has to work and can only let me know when she will be free the day before, and she only inform me today afternoon. As her FOC secretary, i sms them and only 2 reply; until 10 pm still no reply from the rest. It makes me so so irritated, and this has not happened for the first time. previously i will sms them again thinking that they did not received my sms, and only until i met them, then i know that they had actually received it, just that they had not made up their mind yet!!! This is utterly irritating. i volunteer to help coordinate, but u guys just did not cooporate.. coordinating a outing is not an easy task especially when it involves more than 5 people. Now that i had said this out, i hope next time such things wont happen again! =){it's sometimes best to say it out loud instead of building up the anger inside without anyone knowing it}
Putting aside these unhappy things, i should say some other happy things. i went back to schlumberger to work again on thursday.. so happy to see shirley and serena again.. they still look the same.. angie, my supervisor was on leave for 2 days and yeah, it's gossip time for us threesome again.. when i start work the 1st day, our dept financial controller(boss), Bert treat us for lunch. We suggested going to changi airport to eat sakae sushi, but i guess my boss doesn't really like jap food (he's a thai) and so we ended up eating thai food, Sukhot Thai Express @ changi airport. He was really generous, guess he earns too much $$$ already... haha.. and so lunch including ice-creams for 4 of us costs a total of $107. Lunch takes for then 1 hour, and yet our boss doesn't seem like he wants to go back to work at all.. and he keeps asking serena if she wants to buy anything.. and what's more, there's a huge xmas tree at the airport, and he took photos for us threesome.. but he does not have good photographic skills, the photos are blur! (upload it when i get the photos) feeling abit sad when i knew that 19dec is shirley's last day, she's going be HDB taitai, taking care of her daughter. i'll definitely miss her especially her laughter, it's contagious... i should get something for her, but what should i buy for her?(she's moving in to her new home in Jan) {when i saw *** blog and learnt that *** is so closed to ---, i have mixed feelings... i dont know why }
