We had our first bowling session on 18 Jan 09 at Kovan Super Bowl. It's our first activity in the new year!
I missed badminton.. But no worries, badminton will resume in Feb =)
Supposedly to have 10 of us, 3 cant make it and last minute, Sebas fell sick, he said he was feeling weak.. sounds bad..
In the end only 6 of us turn up for the bowling - Xinhui, Huimin, Jiahui, HongChuan, Yaohui and me.
Yaohui and Hongchuan were off-form, couldnt score as well as the prev round we had at the volunteer bowling session..
I also didnt play as well as the previous round: the ball keep rolling into the gutter.. hahah
I manage to get 2 strikes, thanks to the insensitivity of the sensor - we get free ball =)
After 4 games of bowling, we had the famous, long queue chicken rice at Kovan hawker centre.
$2.50 worth of chicken rice cant fill up any corner of my empty stomach.
Sarah Jane came after attending her church wedding. She suggested a place for dessert after our unfilling dinner.
We (Hc, Yaohui, Huimin and I) hopped on her car and we are off to Novena for ice-cream at a shop name Udders.
I was so hungry during the ride to Novena.. rumbling away.. haha
Finally I had my waffle + a scoop of cookies n cream = $5.70
Yum Yum.. satisfied. Finally my stomach is filling full.
The ice-cream are really superb.
Quite worth the money and unique flavours, much better than swensen and ben n jerry.
